“Don’t accept cheap imitations, ask for the original.” ~ Louie Lawrence smith, III

  • We are the original Shingle Springs Indians named by John Sutter himself in 1848. We signed the 1851 Treaty of Cosumnes River with the United States government. We are the historic authentic federally documented tribe of El Dorado County and there is no other. Do not accept substitutions—counterfeit, fraudulent, spurious, sham replacements dressed up as history.
  • We reject fabricated and forged narratives, ultra vires actions taken by the BIA without statutory authority, and unlawful usurpations beyond jurisdiction.
  • What is void ab initio cannot be made legitimate by repetition, misrepresentation, or bad faith.
  • The truth stands on the original record, and no counterfeit substitute will replace it.
  • Sometimes the truth is also politically incorrect.
